grown: sustainable furniture crafted of repurposed
cardboard, eco-friendly materials and environmentally conscious
manufacturing processes. No 'new' cardboard is used in the manufacturing
of these pieces, all of this material is harvested 'post-consumer"
and would otherwise end up as refuse. Each piece grows, layer
by hand cut layer, into an organic shape which is both
functional and beautiful. The piece is then treated with a non-toxic,
proprietary material creating a hard surface that helps to resist
the potential denting one might associate with corrugated cardboard.
The result is a surprisingly strong and stable piece of furniture
that is unlike any other.
