The text on this sign was carved 3 dimensionally into 3/4 inch MDO on the CNC then painted as shown.  The posts are pressure treated 4 x 4s wrapped in Iroko, an African Hardwood similar to teak, to match the double Dutch barn doors I made for the farm stand.  The Iroko was treated with teak oil and will darken over time.

A custom sign for your business sets a tone and mood from the street.  It's the first thing visitors see and should reflect the image you worked hard to create.  I will work with you to design and fabricate signage that expresses the uniqueness of your company and illustrates your acute attention to detail in every way.  Rich materials and thoughtful design will set your company's branding apart from the rest.

The sign is made of antique chestnut harvested from a barn in Wallingford CT.   Framed in steel angle, welded at each corner and attached with industrial lag bolts.  The text is also reclaimed barn wood, cut, painted and mounted to float above the surface so as to cast a shadow for additional interest.

The pole is 1 1/2 inch black pipe and elbows, cemented into an old post base.
